FEDERICO FARFAN SR.

FOUNDER & PIONEER

In 1951, Federico Farfán Sr. entered the film industry at 21, working across set construction, design, lighting, and production.

In 1968, while working on The Wild Bunch, he discovered special effects—a craft that would define the next five decades of his career.

His career included iconic productions such as:

-The Chosen Survivors (1974)
-Bring Me the Head of Alfredo Garcia (1974)
-Canoa: A Shameful Memory (1976)
-Daniel Boone (TV Series)
-The A Man Called Horse trilogy

SPECIAL EFFECTS COORDINATOR

Federico Farfán Jr. began his career in 1975 with The Return of a Man Called Horse, working alongside his father on major productions.

He later expanded his career in Brazil, becoming Special Effects Coordinator for Rede Globo and leading effects across 40+ productions for over two decades.

His career included iconic productions such as:

-The Honorary Consul
-Dune (Dir. David Lynch)
-Rambo II
-Total recall (1990)
-The War of Canudos

SPECIAL EFFECTS COORDINATOR

In 1984, Federico Farfán Sr. invited Luis Ambriz to join the special effects team on Rambo II, beginning a long professional partnership.

Luis later became a key figure in the company, eventually taking leadership of the Mexico operation as Federico Farfán Jr. expanded into Brazil.

His career included iconic productions such as:
